Hey Chandler Kasay, How do you prioritize organic groceries as a dietitian?

Anytime I choose organic I understand that I am immediately avoiding hundreds of chemicals from my family’s diet (artificial flavors/colors, preservatives, glyphosate, GMOs, hormones, pesticides).
However, Organic can still contain its approved list of chemicals (sharing link below).
At the end of the day, if it’s not in our budget, I’ll grab the non organic fruit/veggie because their benefits (vitamins/minerals) still far outweigh the bad.
This is how I would begin incorporating organic foods into my grocery budget:
1. Coffee/Milk (something that’s consumed every single morning by my husband & son)
2. Rice/Oats/Flour (consumed multiple times throughout our day & more commonly sprayed with glyphosate)
3. Chicken/Beef/Eggs (organic/pasture raised)
4. Potatoes/Berries (I’m not as focused on the ones with thick skin that peel off (ex oranges, avocados, bananas) because the chemicals are less likely to penetrate through skin)
Easy to find brands:
Coffee: Charleston Coffee Roasters (Organic)
Milk: Organic Valley, Maple Hill Creamery, Horizon Organic, Kirkland A2, Alexandre Family Farm A2, (If looking for a dairy free option: Malk Organics)
Oats: One Degree Organics, Bob Red Mill
Rice: Lundberg Farms, Lotus Foods
Eggs: Vital Farms
Chicken: Whole Foods Organic breasts/pasture raised whole chicken
Beef: Organic Ranchers
