Hey Chandler Kasay, How Can I Make the Best Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie?

I love playing around in the kitchen & tweaking recipes so after 3 rounds of making these in one week for friends and family I will argue that these are THE BEST homemade gluten free chocolate chip cookies. The perfect blend of flours and sugars- the only thing missing is Jacobsen Salt co pure flake finishing salt to top them off!



RECIPE:

Wet Ingredients: 

1/2 cup grass fed organic butter 

1 tbs whole milk 

1 egg 

2 tsp pure vanilla extract 


Dry Ingredients: 

3/4 cup brown sugar 

1/4 cup coconut sugar 

1 1/3 cup organic brown rice flour 

1/4 cup almond flour (finely ground)

1 tsp baking soda 

1/2 tsp salt 

1 cup chocolate chips


Directions: 

Brown your butter then blend into bowl with both sugars. Add egg, vanilla, milk. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl then add into wet ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips. Press onto cookie sheet, bake 350 for 12 min. Let cool for a few minutes before using your cookie cutter. Sprinkle with flake salt! Enjoy!


*I made these dairy free for a friend’s baby shower and subbed coconut oil & water - still amazing!
